Frequently Asked Questions
Do you see children for weight loss?
Not at this time. While I’ve loved working with children and families in the past, my practice is currently focused on helping adults with weight loss, weight maintenance, and improving their health through realistic nutrition changes.
I see that you accept insurance, but you don’t take mine. Can I still work with you?
Absolutely! I’m currently in network with the insurance plans listed on my profile, but you don’t need to have one of those plans to work with me. If I’m not in network with your insurance, you’re still welcome to schedule individual nutrition counseling as a self-pay client.
How often can I meet with you?
Your first visit will typically be about 75–90 minutes so we have plenty of time to talk about your goals, health history, current eating habits, and where you’d like to make progress. From there, we’ll talk about how often it makes sense to meet based on your goals, preferences, schedule, and insurance coverage. Some clients benefit from meeting more frequently at first, while others prefer or need to space their appointments farther apart. We’ll find a schedule that works for you and gives you the support you need to keep moving forward.
I don’t see an individual appointment that works with my schedule. Can I still work with you?
My individual counseling availability is based on openings in my current client schedule, so there may be times when I don’t have an appointment available that works with your schedule. That’s one of the reasons I’m creating the Morsel Masterclasses! Stay tuned for self-paced classes that will allow you to start learning, take action, and make progress on your own schedule. You’ll get practical nutrition strategies, short video lessons, and workbook-style resources designed to help you put what you learn into practice in real life.
